Gazelles mainly feed on grass, shoots and leaves. They like feeding in wide open spaces and plains which make them seen by predators like cheetahs and wild dogs. They live i herds of ten to one hundred animals.
Gazelles mainly eat herbs, shoots, short grasses, shrubs, although they vary their diet depending on the season. Gazelles have special salivary glands which help them to soften the food for easy swallowing and digestion.
