What Does a Ruptured Spleen Feel like?

The most prominent symptom of a ruptured spleen would be pain in the abdomen. The pain may be severe, but not necessarily. The spleen is located on the left side of the body, so pain may be concentrated in that area. The left shoulder could also be affected, as the ruptured spleen could affect those nerves. A drop in blood pressure usually occurs, so fainting, light-headedness, and blurred vision could be other symptoms.
