What Does a Shillelagh Look like?


A shillelagh is a black walking stick that usually has a shiny surface, with tiny bumps on the side. It has a round knob at the top for easy handling, and is normally seasoned and hardened in nature. A shillelagh is made from the blackthorn tree, and can be used as a club, walking stick, cudgel or ornamental stick.
