What Does Each Side of Your Heart Do?


Both sides of the heart are made to give and receive blood, but there are two main differences. The right side of the heart receives blood from the body, and then it pumps it down into the lungs. The left side retrieves blood from the lungs and pumps it out, where it will flow through the body.
