What Does It Mean If Your White Blood Cells Are High?


If the number of white blood cells in your body is high then you could have leukaemia, bone marrow disease, tissue damage, trauma, or an infection. White blood cells may also increase if we take medicines like antibiotics or corticosteroids. They also tend to increase in number late in the afternoon but it is advisable to see a doctor so you can take some tests.
