What does the rue plant look like?


Rue is a genus composed of strongly scented evergreen sub shrubs that are 20-“60 cm tall, within the family Rutaceae. The most common species is the common rule and its leaves are bipinnate or tripinnate, having a feathery appearance and are green to strongly glaucous blue-green in colour. Its flowers are yellow, having 4-“5 petals, approximately 1 cm diameter, and borne in cymes. It has a fruit that is 4-“5 lobed capsules that contains numerous seeds.
