What Effect Do Clouds Have on Incoming Solar Radiation?

Answer

Solar radiation is an essential activity to the earth surface as it plays an important role in plant growth and in heating the earth's surface. The solar radiation is however at some point infringed by the clouds, which have the effect of blocking the sun ray's thus limiting them from reaching the surface. The clouds then go on to distribute some of the energy from the rays into outer space.
