What Happened to Paris after the Trojan War?

According to Homer's Iliad, the Trojan War was caused when the prince of Troy, Paris, fell in love with and stole Helen, the wife of Menelaus of Sparta. In Greek mythology, Paris dies after a poisoned arrow hits him during the war, shot by Philoktetes. He begs the nymph and his first wife, Oenone, to save him but she refuses.
