Rocky Dennis' mother Florence Rusty Tullis died from infection in 2006 at the age of 70 after she broke both legs from an accident. His son Rocky was just 16 years of age when he suffered from an extremely rare disease, craniodiaphyseal dysplasia. The disease created abnormal calcium deposits in his skull and distorted his face and making it grow to twice its normal size.
