A/B Otic (antipyrine and benzocaine otic) is a pain relief medication which has a numbing effect. The drug is used for removal of ear wax, pain, congestion and middle ear inflammation swelling. It works by decreasing the pain and the inflammation and the glycerin by softening the ear wax.

2 Aug 2009 Otic drops are ear drops. I have never heard of A B otic drops, but I am guessing A B is short for antibiotic - in which case they would be used to treat an ear infection
