A stroke is a medical emergency where a person abruptly changes from functioning normally to having a set of complaints such as headaches, inability to move a body part and change in level of consciousness. For a dense stroke, the muscles of one half of the body are unable to move and often, the person may fall and if older, may break the brittle bones.
