A dynastic cycle is a Chinese political theory that says every dynasty has to undergo a culture cycle. Chinese history is represented by dynastic cycles with the first one being the Xia followed by the Shang, Han and Tang dynasties. The Song dynasty for example, is famous for its rapid economic growth.
