A line agency is an agency where people do the work of the organization such as selling, manufacturing and talking to customers. As opposed to the staff agency, the line agency is directly involved in the running of an organization thus determines the increase or decrease of profits. The agency is also given the role of carrying out organizational policies and provides other services to the customers.
