What is a loft bed?


A loft bed is a bunk bed where a bed frame is stuck to the wall allowing for space underneath. For safety purposes, the bed is usually lined with rails to prevent the user from slipping or falling over. Bunk beds are normally used in the armed forces, dormitories, hostels, prisons and university halls.
