Skill continuum is the classification of well-adjusted muscular performance rather than a tying together of mere habits in categories or continua. There are four main categories on which we can place skills these are; the open ” closed continuum, the gross ” fine continuum, the pacing continuum and the continuous ” discrete continuum. Accurate classification of skills helps the coach to plan effective sessions and also creates greater understanding of different skills.
