To save polar bears humans classified them as endangered species. This means humans are not allowed to kill them. Humans also preserved the environment that polar bears live on. This means building houses or buildings in those land areas that polar bears live on is prohibited. The land is considered natural wild life habitat. Breeding polar bears is also being done at local zoos to try to raise the number of their population.
