Dallas Raines' real name is Dallas Raines. As of 2014, he is the chief meteorologist for KABC-TV in Los Angeles and does the weekday evening weather reports on "ABC7 Eyewitness News."

Dallas Raines was born in 1954 and earned his bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism and earth science at Florida State University. Prior to working at KABC-TV, he covered the weather for CNN. In addition to the weekday weather reports at 4 p.m., 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 11 p.m., Dallas Raines also teaches meteorology at Cal State University, Northridge. He has also appeared as a weatherman in two movies, "The Astronaut Farmer" in 2006 and "Lakeview Terrace" in 2008.
