A formal interaction is either a presentation or a written piece that adheres to the rules strictly and is free of colloquial expressions. There are three types namely downward which flows from the upper management down to subordinates. Upward is what flows from employees to upper level management and finally horizontal which flows across peers within the group or an organization.
