Oh to be objective. It is really hard to not have any personal feelings about what you are doing. But to get objective data, you have to do just that. No personal feelings can be used, and the observations must be based on observable facts. You can measure objective data either by complete, detailed description. This is known as qualitative. Or by quantitative research. Which means that you know exactly what you are looking for before you start.
