What Is the Definition of Backet?


A backet is a trough or box, especially one for carrying ashes or cinders. It is also referred to as a hod or coal-scuttle. Cinder refers to a burned or partly burned substance, such as coal, that is not reduced to ashes but is incapable of further combustion.
