There are various differences between diamonds and cubic Zircona. For example, to the untrained eye, Cubic Zirconia (CZ) looks identical to a good quality diamond. Under closer inspection, CZ will appear to have slightly less brilliance or sparkle than a diamond, and more fire or flashes of colour. Another big difference is in their weights. CZs are heavyweights in comparison to diamonds; a CZ will weigh roughly 1.75 times more than a diamond of equivalent size.
