Although the words Hotel and Motel are used interchangeably, they usually mean different things. The first difference between a motel and a hotel is their architectural design. Motels usually have packing lots that face the door of the rooms that an individual wants to sleep or rest, and if then motel is storey, then all packing lots have to face the room?s doors. This is different with hotels, because most of them have separate packing lots that may be far or near the rooms? doors. Another distinguishes feature between the two is the stay of duration, as compared to Hotels, most individual check into motels for a few nights or even hours. Third distinguishing thing between motels and hotels is their location. Most hotels are found in urban centres, a case that is different from motels, because they are scattered even near main highways.
