What Is the Difference between Oxycodone and Hydrocodone?

Answer

There are several differences in the two medications. Besides the fact that they have different chemical compounds, the oxycodone is a much stronger drug. Oxycodone is more regulated and has a higher abuse risk than hydrocodone. Hydrocodone is a combination drug and is always mixed with another medication such as acetaminophen, oxycodone can be prescribed by itself.
