What Is the Difference between Sea and Ocean?

Oceans and seas are two different types of bodies of water. The difference between an ocean and the sea is that seas are typically located where the land and the ocean meet, are partially enclose by land and are relatively smaller than oceans while oceans are very deep masses of water that separate continents and are expansive. Oceans do not have plant life on the ocean beds as compared to seas which have a wide variety of plant life. The world's largest sea is very small in comparison to the smallest ocean.
