What Is the Difference between Simplex and Duplex?

Answer

A simplex mode of communication or fibre optic cable is used to describe a single mode of transmission and used when a signal only needs to go in one direction. This differs from a duplex where transmission of a frequency simultaneously happens with reception of another at the same time in the opposite direction in the case of a cable.
