Difference between Drama and Theatre?

Drama is the printed text/words of a play while theatre is the actual production of the play. Drama can also be defined as the plays which are produced for the theatre structure. A theatre, also, can be defined as the building in which plays are presented to the public.
1 Additional Answer
The difference between drama and theatre is that theatre is physical, performed on a stage and requires an audience while drama may be an abstract text, prose or verse that does not necessarily have to be performed before an audience. Theatre greatly involves the personification of characters by the actors.
