What Is the Free Ferry Ride That Sails past the Statue of Liberty?

From my experience in New York City, the ferry is the part of the Statue of Liberty tour that actually does cost money. Tickets are about twelve dollars for adults and the ride is a round trip. The actually Ellis Island tour, the park itself, is free.

If you plan to see the Empire State Building, order an "attraction pass" that will give you free admision and then use it to get to the Statue of Liberty instead of passing
