The life cycle of a dog starts when females become sexually mature at the age of one. When they mate successfully, the female will whelp at times up to 15 puppies at a time. Puppies will grow rapidly until they are 6 weeks old and at 5 months will develop all adult teeth. Dogs usually reach full growth by the age of two.
