What is the Parthenon made out of?

Parthenon is a temple located in the Athenian Acropolis and it is dedicated to the goddess Athena. It is chiefly made from marble, limestone and concrete. The foundations were made out of limestone the columns from Pentelic marble while the roof was made from concrete. The temple was used to house the huge statue of Athena made by Pheidias out of Gold and Ivory.
