What Is the Plot of the Lion King?

'The Lion King' is a movie that centres on a young lion prince who is born in Africa. The princes' birth causes his uncle Scar to be the second in line to the throne, a fact he despises. Consequently, Scar plans for the murder of the current king (Mufasa) and his son (Prince Simba) so as to make himself king. Mufasa is killed and his death begins to haunt Simba's conscience as he thinks he caused it. Asa result of these, Simba flees the kingdom leaving scar to rule. However, he eventually returns to claim back the throne.
