Augustus was born in the on 23 September 63 BC by the names of Gaius Julius Caesar Octavianus Divi Filius Augustus. He was born in Rome to Gaius Octavius and Atia Balba Caesonia. Augustus was known because he was the first and greatest Emperor of the Roman Empire and during his rule he initiated Roman Peace. He developed the infrastructure and in AD 14 he was declared and a god and the month of August is in his honor.
