What Was It like to Live in Victorian Times?

Answer

During the Victorian times, families were considered an important part of the society. Upper and middle class families were usually large (with the average family having five or six children), lived in comfortable houses, had servants to do the day-to-day work and each member knew his/her place. On the other hand, poor/working class families lived in overcrowded rooms and often fell ill due to poor sanitation.
