The Titanic’s first port of call after it left Southampton was Cherbourg where she arrived just after 6.00pm. She had left Southampton on April 10th 1912 at 12 noon under Captain E.J. Smith. After a couple of hours of embarking and disembarking of passengers she headed across the Irish sea to Ireland.
