When Did the Us Constitution Go Into Effect?

Answer

The US constitution was implemented because the country needed some form of structure. Without the Constitution people had no rules or regulations to follow and it was causing chaos.

The US Constitution was completed in 1787 by the Constitutional Convention and had to be ratified by nine states to take effect. New Hampshire was the 9th state to ratify on June 21, 1788, but New York City was the first state to put the Constitution into practice on March 4, 1789.
