When Does Fishing Season Open?

Answer

In the UK, the fishing season for most fish is said to open on 15th June, and close on 15th march the following year. This applies to rivers and streams, as most still waters like ponds and lakes will be exempt of this rule. The only time still waters will be closed for fishing is for scientific research or for conservation purposes.

Fishing season goes on thru out the year. It is a good outdoor activity. In summer we pack our picnic basket and another basket full of baits which also includes bread, fruits and fish food so the fish also eat healthy and we go fishing with kids!
