Where can I view a sample pre-sentence report?

Answer

Pre-sentence reports are materials prepared by a probation department to assist the trial court in sentencing a criminal defendant after he has been convicted. They can be viewed at the probation department and include prior convictions, prior arrests, employment history, education history, and family and social background. Pre-sentence investigation reports grants the victim the right to read the pre-sentence report prior to the sentencing hearing.
