Where Did Horses Originally Come from?

Horses are thought to have first evolved in North America. However, by the time mankind was spreading through out the world, they had become extinct in North America and were only found in Central Asia. It is thought that Indo-Europeans living along the Caspian Sea were the first people to domesticate horses.

The earliest recorded discover of horses was in Central Asia in 4500 B.C. But, archaeological finds suggest horses were around as early as 2000 B.C.

This is a educated guess not a surefire answer. But from what i have seen it is from Spain because Pinto horses are descends from the Spanish Horse.
