There are various theories as to how Earth came to be but according to scientists they attribute the Big Bang Theory to have been the creation of earth whereas Christians believe God created Earth and all the living things in it. The Big Bang Theory proposes planet Earth was one big mass of matter but after expansion and contraction of molecules Earth was formed.

Where did the Earth come from is kind of like asking what came first the chicken or the egg. The better question may be what is the evolution of the earth. The earth began as a huge rock and then there was an explosion from with in. The explosion was so big that when all the dust from our atmosphere finally settled it became the soil on our planet. There for the planet we know as Earth was formed.
