There are two types of camels, the one hump or the two hump camel. The one hump camel is also known as a dromedary camel. They can be found living in dry climates such as deserts in Africa and Arabia. The two hump camel or Bactrian camel live in the mountains of Australia. Camels normally live in the deserts of the Middle East. In the Sahara Desert camels are used to get around. Of course there are camels that don't live in desert area - like camels who live in zoos.
