Where Does the Nile River Begin?

The Nile River begins at Lake Victoria or it could be said it starts with the small rivers and streams that run into the other side or the lake. The name of the river at this point is the White Nile. The Nile is part of a three river system. The Blue Nile River starts at Lake Tana. The two rivers run into each other at Khartoum making the Nile.
