Where Does the Water Cycle Start and End?

Answer

The water cycle begins when the sun heats up water in rivers, lakes or oceans and turns it into vapour or steam. The water vapour leaves these bodies of water, gets into the air and condenses to form clouds. The cycle then ends when precipitation occurs, with water falling back to earth as rain, snow, hail or sleet.
