Sir Isaac Newton received 9 honors between 1665 and 1703. His first honor was a Bachelor of Arts from Trinity College in Cambridge in 1665.

In addition to his Bachelor of Arts, he was elected a Fellow in 1667 and earned his Master of Arts at Trinity College in 1668. In 1669, Newton was appointed Lucasian Professor of Mathematics, but resigned from the position in 1701.

Newton went on to be admitted to the Royal Society in 1672 and was elected to Parliament as MP for Cambridge University in 1688. Eleven years later, he was admitted to the Academie Royal des Sciences as a Foreign Associate.

In 1701, Newton was re-elected to Parliament; two years later ,he was elected President of the Royal Society.

Sir Isaac Newton was a physicist, mathematician and astronomer. He was born in Woolsthorpe, Lincolnshire, England in 1642. After being educated and working at Trinity College, he moved to London in 1696, where he was Master of the Royal Mint. He also served on the Board of Longitude, while continuing to work in the fields of physics, mathematics and chemistry. He remained in London until his death on March 20, 1727. Newton was the first scientist buried in Westminster Abbey.
