Where Was the Movie Titanic Filmed?

Answer

The movie Titanic was filmed on board a ship called the Akademic Mstislav Keldysh, which the director, James Cameron, used as a base when filming the actual wreck. The movie was set in a kind of Romeo and Juliet way with Leonardo De Caprio being Romeo and Kate Winslet as Juliet. Production of the film started in 1995 while the reconstruction of the Titanic was built at Playas de Rosarito, Baja California and scale models and computer-generated imagery used to recreate the sinking.
