Who Did the US Fight in WW2?

Answer

The US entered World War II when Japan bombed Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. We fought Japan, Germany and other 'axis' countries. Japan's attack on US soil was a preemptive strike against the US. It was looking as though Germany was going to defeat the allied forces in Britain and Japan knew that the US would not allow for Hitler to seize control of Britain and would enter the war anyway.
