Who Does Focus Consider Its Competition for a Platform like This?

Answer

Scott Albro (Founder, CEO, Focus)
There are a number of incumbent vendors in the online events space including traditional webinar providers such as ON24, virtual event companies such as INXPO, and even web conferencing solutions such as WebEx. While all of these vendors ostensibly play in the same space, Focus doesn't view them as competitive because:

1. Unlike the aforementioned companies, Focus is not an events technology company;

2. The primary benefit delivered via the new events app remains that of allowing business and technology professionals to connect with Focus Experts. No other company does this with their events technology.

3. The social features of the Live Event App are a significant differentiator that sets the Focus platform apart from legacy vendors.
