OXFAM, the well known Uk charity organization, was founded by a small group of people in 1942. This group included Canon Gilford, Robert Murray, Dr henry Gillett, and Cecil Jackson Cole. They came together to assist people who were dying of hunger in many parts of Europe, which had been occupied by the Nazis.
