Who Invented Gelignite?

Gelignite was invented by Alfred Nobel in 1875 who had earlier invented dynamite. It was an explosive material which was more stable than dynamite and easily mouldable and safer to handle. Gelignite does not sweat and cannot be exploded without a detonator.
