Who Invented the Ballpoint Pen?

Answer

The ballpoint pen was invented by an American leather tanner John Loud, in 1888 who patented a roller-ball-tip marking pen. However it wasn't until almost fifty years later that an improved version was invented in Hungary in 1935 by Ladislas Biro and his brother, Georg because of the shortfall of the first invention.
