Who Invented the Deep Freezer?

Carl von Linde, was the German engineer and electrical physicist who developed the freezing process. The freezers he made used compressed-ammonia refrigeration. He was able to do this after his research in heat theory at the Polytechnic of Munich. He had earlier invented freezers.
