Who Is on the Buffalo Indian Head Nickel?

Answer

Two of the American Indians on the Buffalo Indian Head nickel are Chief Iron Tail of the Lakota Sioux and the Cheyenne Chief Two Moons. James Earle Fraser designed the coins and could not remember the name of the third American Indian but he did name the first two models before he died. As of 2012 there has not been documentation that has proven who the third was for sure.
